Your Job Profile as a NetSec Engineer (Network Security Engineer)

Your job responsibilities as a Network Security Engineer includes designing and administering security systems for organizational networks. A network security engineer protects systems from cyber threats, including bugs, malware, and hacking attempts. The IT professional should be able to identify existing issues and build safeguards to avoid future threats.


Duties and Tasks of Your Particular Role

  • Maintaining LAN, WLAN and architecture of the server as per the business policy.

  • As a precautionary measure, analyze and implement new security protocols for greater efficiency against any threat or malfunctions

  • Resolving the existing security issues.

  • Tracking the vulnerable scripts  to avert the potential threats

  • Generating and maintaining the virtual private network, firewalls, web protocols and email security decorum.

  • Reporting the security analysis of findings.

  • Maintaining the regulatory systems about ISMS policy (Information System Management Systems).

  • Investigations of Security breach alert.

  • Developing the security authentication protocol.

  • Maintaining VMs, Vnets, NSGs.

  • Maintaining & implementation of the SOP for Network security.

  • Status reports of hardware and software products as per designated policies.

  • Supervising the installation of new software’s and hardware’s.

  • Recommend modifications in legal, technical and regulatory areas that affect IT security.

  • Knowledge of performing routing protocols (MPLS, HAIPE/IP, QOS and WAN).

  • Monitoring of web security gateways, perimeter security, network access controls, endpoint security.

  • Put identity and access management (IAM) policies in place to prevent unauthorized access to company data.


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, engineering, or a related technical field B. Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization

Location

  • Remote

You must have

  • Experience on Azure cloud platform is aware of the azure networking components and services.

  • Preferable not mandatory Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)

  • Azure Cloud and Azure Networking and Network Security

  • Experience in Palo Alto Networks (Mandatory., Certification preferred but not mandatory. )

  • Experience in Maintaining Vnets
