Your Job Profile as a Performance Test Engineer – QA

A Performance Test Engineer – QA is responsible for responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting performance testing systems and strategies. Therefore, they ensure that the application doesn't misbehave under changing user load and that no bugs or errors reach the end-users.

Duties and Tasks of Your Particular Role

Design, maintain and execute manual and automated test cases for API, performance and end-to-end functional tests.
Develop automated tests with industry-standard testing tools and frameworks (e.g. JMeter,
Junit, RestAssured)
Ensure comprehensive end-to-end coverage of test suites.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, engineering, or a related technical field

Location

You must have

Minimum 4+ years of experience in Performance testing using LoadRunner or any other commercial/open source PT tools such as NeoLoad, SilkPerformer,RPT, JMeter, VSTS ·
End-to-End performance testing experience which includes gathering NFRs, creating workload by coordinating with different stakeholders ·
Experience in writing performance test plans ·
Experience in Performance test script development and test execution ·
Good Results analysis skills ·
Minimum 4 -7 years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
Should have worked on Neo Load/JMeter/LoadRunner performance tools.
Experience in API testing and service oriented architecture applications.
Exposer to Python coding and automation tool development.
Good knowledge in performance testing concepts and analysis.
Strong understanding of N-tier web architecture, web server and application server
performance.
Should have good experience in java and J2EE based web applications.
Work experience in SQL and able to identify bottlenecks.
2+ years of industry experience in Performance testing tools such as JMeter.
Experience with testing Web Services or REST APIs either from code or with tools like SoapUI/Postman Experience of creating test cases based on requirements given in BRD.

Preferred Skills

Experience in performance testing tool NeoLoad.
Experienced in Java and Groovy scripting.
Excellent communication skills and individual player·
